The State gives each citizen 100,000 VND to celebrate Independence Day, making the joy and meaning multiply."

However, as of September 2, many people have not received National Day gifts. "I have only seen information about National Day gifts in the press. My family has not registered to receive gifts through the electronic identification application (VNeID), but so far there has been no announcement from the residential group," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen (residing in Phu Dien Ward, Hanoi ).

According to the reporter's investigation, many residential groups in Hanoi are continuing to announce locations and times for people to receive National Day gifts after September 2.

People who come to receive gifts are reminded to bring their ID cards. Children who do not have ID cards must bring their birth certificates.

The Ministry of Finance has instructed that gifts for citizens are given by household. Citizens can receive gifts in one of two ways: transfer via social security account integrated on VNeID, or receive directly in cash at payment points organized by the locality.

The Commune People's Committee decides on the location of gift giving in accordance with actual conditions, prioritizing places convenient for citizens. The time for giving and receiving gifts is from August 30, no later than September 15.

Previously, on August 28, the Prime Minister issued Official Dispatch No. 149/CD-TTg on giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. The gift amount is 100,000 VND/person.
