Not fussy, not ostentatious, Lao Cai ’s booth was arranged like a miniature cultural museum. There, instead of flashy promotional words, there were the sounds of panpipes, the bustling dances of the highlanders and the artisans patiently rinsing teapots and making tea. They were not only bringing a product, but were telling the story of ancient tea trees hundreds of years old, bathing in the dew and wind at the top of Suoi Giang.
The focal point of the space is the hot cups of tea, shimmering amber, emitting thin smoke that seems to carry the scent of the mountains and forests. Visitors come in droves, to the point that the artisans seem to have no time to rest.

Talking to us, Mr. Dao Duc Hieu - Director of Suoi Giang Ecological System Cooperative, his eyes could not hide the pride shared: The biggest wish when building this space is not to sell how much tea, but to let visitors feel the soul of the homeland.
"We not only bring tea here, but also bring the space, culture, and simplicity of the people on the top of Suoi Giang to the capital. When people lift a cup of tea, they will feel the quintessence of nature, feel the spirit of heaven and earth converging in each tea bud. It is a pride to contribute a small part in bringing Lao Cai cuisine closer to everyone" - Mr. Hieu confided.
It seems that the kindness of Lao Cai people has truly "touched" the hearts of the capital's people and domestic and international tourists. People kept following each other, patiently waiting to enjoy each cup of hot tea. They passed it around to each other, took a sip, then paused, nodded, their eyes shining with satisfaction.
Standing quietly in a corner enjoying tea, Mr. Vu Hong Quy, Hanoi city, softly exclaimed with emotion: "It's wonderful! The tea's flavor is rich, the lingering aroma never fades away."
Mr. Quy's feelings are also the feelings of many people. Holding a cup of black tea in her hand, Ms. Nguyen Thu Ngoc, Hanoi City, analyzed more delicately: "I have tried many types of tea, but the flavor of this tea is very special. It has its own aroma, pure and unmixed. Even though it is just a small sip, the difference is so clear, making people remember it forever."
That "very real, very special" taste left a deep impression on Mr. Do Duc Hoan, Thanh Xuan Nam ward, Hanoi. He confided: "This taste makes me wish that one day I can set foot in Suoi Giang land, stand in the middle of the tea hill to experience this wonderful space. Surely it will be an unforgettable memory."

What is more special is not just about enjoying tea and shopping. Many visitors chose to sit for a long time at the tea table, chatting enthusiastically with the artisans. They not only asked about how to make tea, but also wanted to learn more about the ancient Shan Tuyet tea tree, about the life and culture of the people on the top of Suoi Giang. The small display room suddenly became a cultural meeting place, where there was no longer a distance between the seller and the buyer, only warm stories told over a cup of fragrant tea.
The exhibition will eventually end, and people will return to their daily hustle and bustle. However, the sweet aftertaste of a cup of Suoi Giang tea will surely linger in the memories of those who have stopped by that peaceful corner. It is not just the taste of tea, but also the taste of the mountains, the culture, and the sincere hearts of the people of Lao Cai.
This success is a joy, opening up a new vision, lighting up the hope of an ancient tea festival in the future and further on the journey to turn Vietnamese tea culture into a world heritage. So that the flavor of Suoi Giang tea will not only be strong in the heart of the capital, but will also fly far, spreading the quintessence of Vietnamese land.
