Giving Independence Day gifts to the people all night long

From the evening of September 1st to the morning of September 2nd, officials of Hoai Duc and Tra Tan communes stayed up all night to provide money for people in time for the September 2nd holiday.

Implementing Resolution No. 263/NQ-CP, dated August 29, 2025 of the Government on giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, previously, on August 31 - September 1, many points were organized in 2 communes to provide money to people.

In Tra Tan commune, in addition to the commune People's Committee hall and the commune police headquarters, the commune also arranged gift distribution points for the people in village halls.

Tra Tan gives gifts to people in the evening

In Hoai Duc commune, the population is larger than other communes in the region, so there are more gift distribution points. Mr. Tran Dinh Trang, Chairman of Hoai Duc Commune People's Committee, said: The commune has established 10 groups to give gifts to people in 20 villages.

The gift distribution point in Hoai Duc is always crowded.

At nearly 1:00 a.m. on September 2, people in Hoai Duc commune still came to receive gifts.

Currently, Hoai Duc commune has 430 households/1,689 people receiving the transfer amount of 168.9 million VND; 4,871 households/24,195 people receiving direct gifts, with the amount of more than 2.383 billion VND. The commune will continue to distribute the remaining amount to the people and complete it right after the September 2nd holiday.
