Unforgettable historical moment
Mr. Hua Thanh Giang and his family watched the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd on live television.

At the age of 75, veteran Hua Thanh Giang, former Commander of the Military Command of Bac Kan Province (formerly), woke up early to watch the military parade and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd with his family. On the screen, the image of the troops marching through Ba Dinh Square evoked in him and his comrades many heroic memories of a time of war.

Mr. Giang said emotionally: Looking at the troops parading today, I feel like I see a part of my youth again. Pride and emotion surge. Our generation has made great contributions, now we only hope that the younger generation will follow in our footsteps, maintain independence and build an increasingly prosperous country.

For veterans - those who have gone through years of bombs and bullets, the Parade is not only a momentous event but also a journey back in time, reminding them of their comrades who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

That sacred atmosphere also spread in the family of veteran Bui Kien Thiet, in Gia Sang ward. From early morning, in the small house, family members and his comrades gathered to watch the Commemoration Ceremony live.

Mr. Thiet emotionally shared: Today's joy is not only the joy of the holiday but also a deep gratitude to the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. Every time I witness the army marching in the parade, my comrades and I have more confidence and pride in the strength of the Army and the country.

The parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2 is a reminder to today's and future generations of the great sacrifices of our ancestors, thereby fostering patriotism and a sense of responsibility for building our homeland.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh in Gia Sang ward shared: Watching the parade, I feel very proud. This is also an opportunity to remind myself and my children about their civic responsibilities, helping them understand more about historical traditions, thereby making them study harder and strive harder.

The joyful and proud atmosphere of the ceremony also spread to Mr. Duong Ngoc Khang's family in Bac Kan ward. From early morning, his children and grandchildren gathered to watch the parade. For Mr. Khang, this was not only a joy on the great day of the nation but also a vivid history lesson for the generations in his family.

In the general atmosphere of the whole country, Duong Thanh Loan, a 10th grade student at Bac Kan High School for the Gifted, could not hide her pride: This is the first time I have watched such a grand parade live, I am very moved.
