On the evening of September 1, at My Dinh National Stadium (Hanoi), a special national art program "80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" took place. This program was directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and performed by the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet in coordination with art units.

The program was elaborately staged on a grand scale with the participation of nearly 3,000 professional and non-professional artists, along with orchestras, choirs and mass actors from many major art units across the country.

General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam, along with Party and State leaders and leaders of several countries around the world , political parties and international friends attended the program.

The program "80 years of Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" is divided into three chapters with tight content, profound art and politics.

The scene "Long Night of Slavery" and the song "Footprints Ahead" open Chapter I: The Road to Independence and Unification.

Song "Let's go together as red soldiers" - "National Defense Corps" performed by Anh Tu, Dong Hung, Hoang Hiep.

Chapter III: My homeland has never been so beautiful.

Soobin Hoang Son and singers Hoang Bach, Lamoon Diem Hang, Rapper Quan Lee, and Hoang Hong Ngoc also burned the stage with vibrant, youthful songs in Chapter III: My Fatherland, has never been so beautiful.

The special performance “Tien Quan Ca” - the sacred national anthem resounded in a solemn atmosphere, affirming the strong vitality of the Vietnamese people, with the participation of Trong Tan, Dong Thoi Gian Group, Symphony Orchestra, Children's Choir, a group of dancers and the mass force of soldiers honoring the Army Ceremonial Group (General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army).

More than 20,000 spectators at My Dinh National Stadium and artists sang the song "Marching Song" with the image of the red flag with yellow star everywhere.

The song "Love Vietnam's Smile" performed by Hoang Bach, Thanh Lam, and Tung Duong concluded the special Concert "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness".
