The festival was attended by comrades Pham Minh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Nguyen Thi Mai Trang, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee; along with leaders of the Fatherland Front Committee, ward organizations and representatives of the neighborhood.

The series of activities includes 4 peak periods, starting with the "Independence Day" Festival (August 25 to September 2) with many meaningful activities: online broadcasting of the parade and parade celebrating National Day; giving 10 sets of notebooks to students in difficult circumstances; giving 35 gifts to near-poor and disadvantaged households; launching the space "Covered with the color of my beloved flag" at the headquarters of the Ward Fatherland Front Committee; organizing great solidarity meals in the neighborhoods.

Not only bringing an exciting and joyful atmosphere, the activities also contribute to strengthening the relationship between villagers and promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations in building Minh Phung ward to be more civilized, modern and affectionate.
According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, during the peak activity of "National Unity Day" taking place from August 25 to September 2, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City had more than 4,879 activities to celebrate National Day in 168 wards, communes, and special zones, including 133 "Independence Day" festivals in residential areas.
Social security work was given special attention with a total budget of nearly 26.9 billion VND; 5,418 gifts and 899 scholarships were given to people and students in difficult circumstances; 9 charity houses were built, repaired and handed over.
In addition, more than 5,310 free meals were given through 868 solidarity meals and charity kitchens. The festive atmosphere also spread brilliantly on the streets with 98 new flag routes, and more than 153 green - clean - beautiful works completed, contributing to beautifying the urban appearance and strengthening the spirit of community solidarity.
