Music project "Vietnam, let's step towards the future" depicts the beauty of the country

Composed by musician Le Tu Minh, the song is a modern epic, reflecting the aspiration to build a strong Vietnam in the new era. The lyrics depict the indomitable will, honor the achievements of our ancestors, and at the same time convey the belief and responsibility to continue the footsteps of today's young generation. According to the author, the message throughout the work is condensed into four core values: Pride - Solidarity - Rising - For the Fatherland.

In particular, “Vietnam, let’s step towards the future” was chosen to be performed in the framework of the Parade and March to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day - one of the most important and sacred events of the nation. This is a milestone affirming the special value of the song, when sung at a historical moment, echoing in the heroic atmosphere of the whole country.

At the same time, right on the occasion of the great festival, the special version of the MV Tung Duong - Dao To Loan was also officially released. This is the next step in the series of projects about the homeland and country that Tung Duong has carried out on major national anniversaries, and is one of the most meaningful projects when combining popular music and academic vocal music.

This project features an impressive collaboration between singer Tung Duong – known as the “fire-bearer” of Vietnamese music, and soprano Dao To Loan – one of Vietnam’s leading opera artists. The combination of a powerful, inner voice and an academic, refined voice has created an emotional version of the song, both heroic and elegant, worthy of the country’s important event.

Sharing about the project, Tung Duong emotionally expressed: “I am extremely proud to be able to sing loudly on the historic day of September 2. In particular, being able to sing the song “Vietnam, let’s step forward to the future” at the A80 Parade is a great honor in my singing career. This is not only a musical work, but also a belief and aspiration sent to my beloved Fatherland.”

Meanwhile, Dao To Loan shared: “As an opera and classical chamber artist, I have always cherished the desire to bring classical music closer to the public, so that music no longer has boundaries between classical or any other musical genre, but all blend into the same artistic flow. When I was able to sing along with artist Tung Duong in the iconic song “Vietnam, let’s step forward to the future”, right on the occasion of the sacred National Day, I was truly filled with pride and emotion. This will forever be a special mark, a beautiful and meaningful memory in my artistic journey.”

On the author's side, musician Le Tu Minh said: "The song is a message: The more difficult it is, the more united and patriotic the Vietnamese people become. Today's youth should contribute to building a beautiful, rich and glorious Vietnam."

Taking on the role of visual director, Nguyen Anh Dung shared: “The crew tried to include the most beautiful images of the country in the MV, from natural scenery to simple moments of Vietnamese people, and heroic footage of the great ceremony. We hope that the MV will not only be an artistic gift, but also promote the beauty of the homeland, reminding everyone of patriotism, especially inspiring young people.”

The MV “Vietnam, let’s step towards the future” was elaborately produced, recreating the image of Vietnam on the journey of innovation and development, while also depicting the beauty of the resilient, benevolent, and united Vietnamese people for the Fatherland.

This music project is not only the artistic mark of Tung Duong and Dao To Loan, but also a resounding song, encouraging the national spirit, lighting up the belief and aspiration of Vietnam in the new era.
