Hong Nhung, Tung Duong and other artists shine on the stage of 'What Will Last' 2025

On September 1, the artists had their second practice session to prepare for the National Concert " What Remains Forever 2025" taking place at 2:00 p.m. on September 2 at the Hoan Kiem Theater.

The artists focused highly during the rehearsal, the atmosphere was urgent but full of excitement.

What remains forever 2025 marks the return of diva Hong Nhung and divo Tung Duong. If Hong Nhung will perform Hanoi Song , Tung Duong will perform 2 songs Dak Krong River Spring Returns and A Round of Vietnam .

The artists participating in the program practice enthusiastically and devote a lot of effort to bring the audience the most outstanding performances.

Participating in this year's program, Meritorious Artist Le Giang and the Net Viet group performed the piece Luu Thuy - Kim Tien - Xuan Phong - Long Ho ( Hue royal court music).

Meritorious Artist Le Giang said that this was the second time she participated in Dieu con mai , and it was also the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, so the feeling was even more special. What made her excited and honored was to perform the solo piece Motherland , composed specifically for the monochord by musician Tran Manh Hung with the Sun Symphony Orchestra.

She shared: “The unique point of this performance is that traditional Vietnamese instruments blend with the symphony orchestra, bringing a new breath of both tradition and modernity. As the artist representing this work, I always try my best to fully convey the spirit of the work, bringing the audience beautiful and meaningful sounds of the monochord in the program Dieu con mai 2025 ”.

This year, singer Pham Khanh Ngoc performed the song Nha Trang, Autumn Comes Back by musician Van Ky - a beautiful piece of music about autumn that has become a melody that goes with the years.

Singer Pham Khanh Ngoc shared that this year is the 6th consecutive year she has participated in the program Dieu con mai . For her, this is both a great honor and a special artistic appointment on the occasion of National Day, September 2.

Besides familiar faces , What Remains Forever 2025 has many artists participating for the first time such as: Ha An Huy, Dinh Trang, Bach Tra, Viet Danh, Luong Khanh Nhi, Phan Phuc to bring new colors to the program after more than a decade of organization.

For the first time appearing on the show Dieu con mai, singer Viet Danh will perform the work Gio lon ban phuong . During today's practice session, the coordination between him and the orchestra was very harmonious.

Cellist Phan Phuc coordinated very well with the conductor and orchestra, each note was expressed with emotion. In this year's program, he performed the piece Towards Hanoi.

Bach Tra is the singer in charge of performing the song "Send me the poem hat" . After 2 rehearsals, she coordinated smoothly with the orchestra and was confident in her performance, ready to bring complete emotions to the audience.

The Kosmos Opera Choir was highly focused during today's rehearsal. Conductor Olivier Ochanine expressed his satisfaction with the choir's practice. He said that, like last year, the choir continued to work very well together this year.

Dinh Trang and Hoang Ke, along with the Sun Symphony Orchestra, continue to practice Thei Mai - a work that seamlessly combines Vietnamese folk music and modern symphonic style.

Pianist Luong Khanh Nhi returned from Europe to participate for the first time in Dieu con mai with the work Song Lo with the Sun Symphony Orchestra. She said she carefully studied the original, listened to different interpretations, and discussed with conductor Olivier Ochanine to preserve the original emotion while creating a new breath through the arrangement by musician Tran Manh Hung.

In the program Forever 2025 , Meritorious Artist Lan Anh was assigned the song "Singing in the Pac Bo Forest" by musician Nguyen Tai Tue.

The Soldiers' Group coordinated well with the orchestra.

After a long absence, diva Hong Nhung reunites with the audience through the song " The Song of Hanoi" by musician Vu Thanh.

At the end of the rehearsal, French conductor Olivier Ochanine said he was very impressed with the efforts of the singers participating in Dieu Con Mai 2025. They not only sang the music correctly but also conveyed emotions, understood the song better, bringing abundant energy to the program.

He emphasized that compared to the first rehearsal, the quality and energy in the second rehearsal had increased many times. From famous artists like Tung Duong, Hong Nhung... to young singers, all exuded a spirit of dedication.
