Visiting the Vietnam Exhibition Hall, Ms. Louise Mushikiwabo expressed her deep impression with the meaning of the logo and message of the Exhibition Hall "Inclusive society with people at the center". During the visit of the OIF Secretary General, the Vietnam Exhibition House took the lead in organizing the Francophone Week at the Vietnam Exhibition House at EXPO 2025 with many interesting and meaningful activities. One of the outstanding activities of the Francophone Week at the Vietnam Exhibition House was the music video initiative "Magic in the air" with the participation of most of the OIF member countries with exhibition halls at EXPO 2025. This activity demonstrates the creativity and proactiveness of an active and responsible member country in enhancing the image and presence of the Francophone Community at an international event such as EXPO.

Ms. Louise Mushikiwabo highly appreciated and gave many compliments to the Vietnam Exhibition House for creating a very meaningful video , which is both youthful and vibrant, and demonstrates the spirit of solidarity of the Francophone Community.
Director of the Vietnam Exhibition House Do Lan Phuong introduced to the Secretary General and the OIF delegation some of Vietnam's outstanding achievements and vision for the future, including the North-South high-speed railway project, expected to start construction in 2027. "When the route is completed, I will experience it," said Ms. Louise Mushikiwabo. At the same time, the Secretary General expressed her impression of the efforts of small businesses in Vietnam that are creative, people-centered and aim for the country's green and sustainable development.

Previously, at EXPO 2020 Dubai, the Vietnam Pavilion was honored to welcome Secretary General Louise Mushikiwabo to visit. This is the second time the Secretary General has chosen the Vietnam Pavilion to visit within the framework of EXPO - one of the three largest events in the world . The visit demonstrates the OIF Secretary General's special interest in Vietnam, contributing to further strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and OIF.
At the end of the visit, Ms. Louise Mushikiwabo highly appreciated the initiative and role of the Vietnam Exhibition House in connecting OIF member countries, affirming that OIF will accompany Vietnam and support Vietnam in organizing activities to promote cooperation with countries in the community, especially in the cultural field.
Visitors enthusiastically participate in games to learn about the Francophone Community
Within the framework of the Francophone Week, the Vietnam Exhibition House screened a video introducing the OIF and organized a game to learn about the Francophone Community for visitors to enhance public understanding of the OIF and Vietnam’s participation in this Organization. Hundreds of visitors enthusiastically participated in the game on the first day of the event and expressed surprise and delight at having more information, new knowledge and receiving gifts with Vietnamese cultural values.
Founded on March 20, 1970, the Francophonie/International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF) includes French-speaking countries and territories. The OIF currently has 88 French-speaking members. The mission of the International Organization of the Francophonie includes: Promoting the French language and cultural and linguistic diversity; Promoting peace, democracy and human rights; Supporting education, training, higher education and research; Promoting economic cooperation to enhance sustainable development.
Vietnam joined the Francophone Community in 1970. Since officially joining the OIF, Vietnam has participated in many other organizations of the Francophone Community. Vietnam has attended the Summits right from the first conference, and has been repeatedly elected to important positions by the Community.
