Organizing a ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs and meeting with Dien Bien soldiers to ensure practicality and meaning

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Lo Van Mung delivered a concluding speech at the conference.

Organizing activities to honor and pay tribute to heroic martyrs, Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline workers not only shows gratitude but also demonstrates the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source",educating revolutionary traditions for the current and future young generations. Accordingly, the subjects of honor and gratitude are Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline workers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign residing in the province, families of martyrs, and relatives of deceased Dien Bien soldiers who are being worshiped locally.

The program to meet Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline workers is chaired and organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, on a national scale. Expected 400 delegates, including Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, frontline workers, wounded soldiers, relatives of typical martyrs who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign of Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La, Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Thai Binh , Ninh Binh, Ho Chi Minh City; invited delegates, provincial delegates. The event will take place on April 17, 2024 at the Dien Bien Provincial Convention - Cultural Center.

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Lo Thi Minh Phuong gave comments at the conference.

Funds for organizing activities are mobilized by the State Bank of Vietnam from credit institutions and supported by the province's Gratitude Fund.

The comments focused on reviewing the subjects to avoid duplication and omission of subjects; reception work, gift levels as well as hosting and organizing visits to the subjects honored and expressed gratitude in localities... This is a meaningful and practical activity, so the organization needs to be carried out carefully and solemnly. Strengthening information and propaganda about these activities to educate the revolutionary tradition for the current and future young generations to understand and be grateful for the dedication and contributions of previous generations, contributing to the Dien Bien Phu victory.

Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs gave opinions at the conference.

Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Lo Van Mung agreed to separate the activities to honor and show gratitude to heroic martyrs and coordinate the organization of meetings with Dien Bien soldiers into two separate plans. In which, the plan to organize the honoring activities was issued by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the plan to coordinate the organization of meetings was issued by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. He emphasized that the activities to honor heroic martyrs are extremely meaningful, so it is necessary to arrange time for representatives of the provincial leaders to visit and give gifts. The opinions of the delegates will be received to soon complete the plan to submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for promulgation.
