Dong Thap Province: Announcing decisions to establish provincial and commune-level Youth Union organizations

(ABO) On July 10, the Standing Committee of Dong Thap Provincial Youth Union held a conference to announce the decisions to establish provincial and commune-level Youth Union organizations and deploy the directions and tasks of the Youth Union and youth and children's movements in Dong Thap province in the last 6 months of 2025.

Attending the event were comrade Ho Kim Lien, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province; representatives of the Provincial Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; members of the Standing Committee, Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee; representatives of the Youth Union and Youth Union Working Committee; Secretaries of commune and ward youth unions in the province.

At the conference, authorized by the Central Youth Union Secretariat, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee announced the Decision to establish the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dong Thap province (on the basis of merging the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dong Thap province and Tien Giang province) and announced the Decision to establish and launch 102 commune and ward-level Youth Union organizations after implementing the administrative unit arrangement. This is an important step to complete, ensuring unity and synchronization in the organizational apparatus and improving the effectiveness of Youth Union activities at the grassroots level.

The conference also approved the draft direction of the Youth Union and youth and children's movement in the last 6 months of 2025, with many key contents such as: Strengtheningeducation on revolutionary ideals, effectively implementing the "Summer Youth Volunteers" Campaign, promoting digital transformation in Youth Union activities, building a strong Youth Union organization, caring for and accompanying youth and children...

In addition, delegates actively participated in discussions, contributed ideas to the draft working direction and gave opinions on the Project and Decision to establish the Dong Thap Provincial Youth Union Council - an important content to improve the quality of Youth Union work and the children's movement in the coming time.
