At the conference, Major General Nguyen Quoc Duan, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Special Forces Corps, reported on the results of the Party Committee's preparations for the congress, focusing on the contents of the draft political report and personnel work. Next, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, reported on the results of the assessment of the congressional preparations of the functional agencies. After listening to the reports, the delegates attending the conference participated in speaking, orienting, supplementing, and contributing a number of contents to help the Party Committee of the Special Forces Corps continue to complete and improve the quality of draft documents, do a good job of preparing and successfully organizing the Congress of the Party Committee of the Special Forces Corps for the 2025-2030 term.

Concluding the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien acknowledged and commended the Party Committee of the Special Forces Corps for seriously grasping and implementing the instructions and guidance of superiors on preparing for the representation, basically ensuring quality and progress; and assessed that the documents were fully prepared, thoughtfully, and in accordance with regulations and instructions. At the same time, he requested the Party Committee of the Special Forces Corps to fully absorb the opinions at the conference, especially the guiding opinions of the Chief of the General Department of Politics and the General Staff, and promptly supplement and complete the draft reports.

Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien emphasized that the congress for the 2025-2030 term is extremely important in determining the new development steps of the unit. Therefore, for the direction part of the political report, the Party Committee of the Special Forces needs to continue to research, refine, supplement, and fully demonstrate the main contents on the aspects of work that need to focus on leadership; propose development orientations suitable to the position, functions, and tasks in the new situation of the service and force.

In particular, there needs to be major orientations in leadership in building the Special Forces to ensure that they are close to practical requirements. The content of the goals and tasks needs to be expressed more clearly, in a specific quantitative and qualitative manner, ensuring consistency with other contents in the draft report.

Major General Hoang Minh Son, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Commander of the Special Forces, spoke to receive and absorb opinions at the conference.

Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien highly appreciated a number of the objectives that the Party Committee of the Corps identified as using to focus on leadership in the new term; agreed with the limitations, concerns, and causes identified in the draft report, and at the same time, requested the Party Committee of the Corps to continue to clarify further, with evidence and specific data for a number of contents, especially in the assessment and orientation of building the Special Forces to increase persuasiveness, avoiding generalities and formalities. For the breakthroughs, it is necessary to adjust, generalize, and clarify the content of each stage, ensuring that it is realistic, appropriate, and demonstrates the role of the elite special forces.
