On July 8, An Giang Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision to establish the Provincial Military Party Committee. Colonel Nguyen Van Nganh, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Commander of the Provincial Military Command chaired the conference.

The An Giang Provincial Military Party Committee was established, directly under the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, on the basis of merging the Kien Giang Provincial Military Party Committee, the Kien Giang Provincial Border Guard Party Committee, the An Giang Provincial Military Party Committee and the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Party Committee.

The conference announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Provincial Military Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term; appointing the Provincial Military Party Standing Committee for the 2025-2030 term; and appointing the Provincial Military Party Inspection Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Van Nganh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the An Giang Provincial Military Command, sent his congratulations to the comrades who received the decision on this occasion.

The Commander emphasized: After the merger, An Giang province has a large area and a very important strategic position in the national defense situation. This is a premise for the province to develop, and at the same time, it also places a great responsibility on the provincial armed forces. Therefore, comrades in the Party Executive Committee and the Standing Committee need to focus on implementing the Party's policies and resolutions; uphold the spirit of solidarity and be exemplary in performing military and national defense tasks. It is necessary to continue to promote creativity, flexibility, and timely advise and propose solutions to difficulties and problems in performing military and national defense tasks and border work in the new situation.
