Command 86 has performed well its advisory function to the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense in drafting legal documents on cyber warfare and information technology. Notably, it advised the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of National Defense to issue Circular No. 04 guiding the implementation of Decree No. 13 of the Government on personal data protection in the Ministry of National Defense; submitted to the Ministry of National Defense a circular to replace Circular No. 110 of the Minister of National Defense on regulations on management, provision and use of internet services in the Vietnam People's Army.

The Command also effectively supported forces tasked with combating and refuting false and hostile views in cyberspace, coordinating to neutralize and remove nearly 1,300 news and articles with malicious content. Strengthening threat hunting activities, promptly preventing intentional cyber attacks on military computer network systems at a number of agencies and units; promptly detecting and building features to clean up dozens of malware variants and security vulnerabilities on information security monitoring systems; reconnaissance to detect and report incidents of leaked information technology system accounts of a number of ministries and branches.

In the first 6 months of the year, Command 86 advised the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to proactively and synchronously deploy tasks on digital transformation, implement Project 06 and the "Digital Education for All" Movement in the Army. Organized 9 thematic working conferences to promote digital transformation in the Ministry of National Defense; inspected digital transformation work at 8 agencies and units; issued a plan to develop and apply digital data in the Ministry of National Defense until 2030. Completed testing of a number of shared applications, software and digital signature solutions on private mobile networks; supported agencies and units to deploy shared applications and software for management, direction, training and digital transformation work.

The entire Command also fully and promptly ensured logistics, technology, and finance for the missions. Office work, inspection, and military science were deployed synchronously and effectively. Party and political work were deployed comprehensively, with many contents achieving good results; Party congresses at all levels were directed closely and in accordance with regulations; the unit was absolutely safe.
Speaking at the conference, Major General Vu Huu Hanh emphasized that from now until the end of the year, the entire army in general and Command 86 in particular have many important tasks, therefore, officers, employees and soldiers of agencies and units need to uphold their responsibility, solidarity, proactively overcome difficulties, and strive to complete the set goals and tasks.
