Hanoi Library - A useful playground for children in the summer

With over 100,000 books and a friendly reading space, the Hanoi Cultural Center and Library (Hoan Kiem District) has become a popular destination for children. The library's activities not only contribute to promoting reading culture but also create a useful playground for children this summer.

To best serve the needs of readers, especially children, the library is open from 8am to 5pm (no lunch break) from Tuesday to Saturday every week.

The library has two reading rooms for children, called Children's and Preschool - Primary. Each room has its own locker for children to leave their belongings before entering the reading room.

The books here are all carefully researched and selected by the unit with all types such as: Comics, stories, science books, skill books, bilingual books...

As a regular reader at the library, Nguyen Tue Vi (Hoang Mai district) shared: “I often read books about the world around us and Vietnamese folk comics. Each story teaches us a lesson about morality, courtesy, and traditional values ​​of the Vietnamese people.”

The Kindergarten - Primary Reading Room is designed with a cozy and friendly space.

Reading books with his child, Mr. Le Cao Vinh (Hai Ba Trung district) said: "Here there are many new books of all kinds to meet the reading needs of my child and me. Reading books with my child helps me understand him better and strengthens the father-child bond."
