Since early afternoon, hundreds of people have been present at T3 station waiting for the moment the army appears.
Also participating in welcoming the delegation were Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, Head of Military Region 7 Command, Ho Chi Minh City Command and many relatives of officers and soldiers performing A80 mission and people of Ho Chi Minh City.

Tears of happiness
Present at the waiting room early, Mrs. Ho Thi Bich Thuy (born in 1964, residing in Binh Thanh Ward) and her daughter held a bouquet of flowers tightly in their hands, waiting for their granddaughter to return. Her granddaughter is soldier Kieu Ngoc Ky Duyen, who participated in the Southern Female Guerrilla Bloc.

Talking to reporters, Mrs. Thuy was moved to tears: "My grandchild has been with me since he was a child, I have taken care of every meal and sleep. For more than 20 years, he has never been far from my arms. Yet he has been able to carry out an important mission for the country, can be independent and trained in a military environment. My family is very honored and proud."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien traveled from Lam Dong to Ho Chi Minh City on September 2nd, and was present at the airport to welcome her two daughters, Nguyen Ngoc Thao Uyen (born in 2001), a soldier of the Female Special Forces, and Nguyen Ngoc Thao Van (born in 2005), a soldier of the Southern Female Guerrilla Forces.
Holding her two children in her arms, Mrs. Hien smiled and teared up: "Watching my children on TV, I felt both love and worry, but above all, I was moved and proud. During the months away from home, I always wished my children good health and to complete their tasks well. As a mother, I could not be happier with the two sisters participating in such an important historical event."

The moment of meeting at the airport only lasted a few short minutes. The two sisters Thao Uyen and Thao Van hugged their mother, quickly told her about the parade in Hanoi , then quickly said goodbye to catch the car back to the unit.
“It was a great honor to walk across the historic Ba Dinh Square, a sacred memory that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Returning today, seeing my mother and everyone waiting, I was deeply moved. I truly appreciate everyone's affection,” Thao Uyen shared.

Like welcoming relatives
In the jubilant crowd, Ms. Truong Thi Phuong Mai, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union of Tan Son Nhat Ward, and other members wore Ao Dai, carried flags and flowers to welcome the soldiers. She shared that Tan Son Nhat Ward was honored to have Ms. Anh Duong, Secretary of the Youth Union of Ward 24, participating in the Southern Female Guerrilla Bloc.
According to Ms. Phuong Mai, although not present in person, the locality has been following the training journey of the forces in Hanoi for the past few months. "You are the pride of your families, relatives, the armed forces and the people of the South. Today, going to the airport to welcome you, I feel like welcoming my own relatives," Ms. Phuong Mai shared.

Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, a female special forces soldier, emotionally recounted her training days in Hanoi, from the days of standing in the rain with her sisters to the scorching hot days.
In particular, the moment of walking on Ba Dinh Square, passing by Uncle Ho's Mausoleum and walking in the arms and enthusiastic cheers of the people of the Capital, that is the most profound memory for Thu Thuy.
“Since performing missions A50 and A80, it has been more than 8 months since I saw my mother. I miss her and home very much. What I look forward to most is seeing my relatives,” Thu Thuy confided.

After successfully completing the A80 mission, the Department of Motorcycles and Transportation (General Department of Logistics and Engineering) coordinated to plan to bring and pick up officers and soldiers back to their working units, ensuring care and safety.
For air transport, the Department of Motor Vehicles and Transport chartered a flight from Vietnam Airlines, transporting 367 people from Noi Bai airport to Tan Son Nhat airport. The force included 335 female soldiers from Military Region 7 and 32 comrades from other forces.
It is expected that the remaining forces will continue to move by train to provinces and cities in the next few days.
