One weekend afternoon, my whole unit was buzzing with the news that Doan had brought his girlfriend to visit the barracks and introduce her to the commander. To my surprise, that evening, Doan took the initiative to come to my room and told me about his interesting love story with his girlfriend Bui Thuy Linh, a pharmacy student at Phenikaa University. According to Doan, his father was in business and had been a regular customer of Linh's family for several years. In early 2024, Linh's family invited Doan's father to visit their home.

On the day off, Doan took his father with him. Knowing that there were guests at home, Linh thoughtfully prepared fruits and candies to invite them and sat down with her mother to chat. Linh did not expect that her pretty appearance and polite, gentle way of speaking would make the young officer fall in love with her at first sight. Before leaving, Doan proactively asked for Linh's phone number and Facebook address so that he could chat with her occasionally.

After that time, Doan often texted Linh to ask about her, sharing everything from trivial things to things about studying and working. Seeing that the young officer was sincere, and that the two families had a relationship, Linh trusted him and opened up to him. At that time, there was a traditional festival in her hometown, so Doan boldly invited Linh to go with him. On the way to the temple gate, he saw a game of throwing darts and hitting balloons to receive gifts. Confident in his ability, he signed up to participate and threw 10 times to the target, to the admiration of everyone around him.

Looking at Linh, Doan felt that her eyes also had a lot of sympathy for him. Doan exchanges the gift for a cute teddy bear with a heart in the middle and the words "I love you" to give to Linh, as a way to "say what the heart wants to say". Linh shyly lowered her head, received the gift with her hand, her heart beating fast. Then, when holding her girlfriend's hand to visit the temple in the atmosphere festive, Doan boldly confessed: "Let's love each other, okay!". Once again, Linh's heart was beating fast, she could only smile and nod in agreement.

Knowing that the two children have feelings for each other, the parents of both sides are very happy and supportive. The relationship between the two families, which was already close, is now even closer. The beautiful, pure love also makes the young couple always accompany and encourage each other in studying and working, together looking towards a bright, happy, and united future.
