Granja Fujikura Group wants to develop high-tech agriculture in Vietnam

(Chinhphu.vn) - During the bilateral activities in Brazil, on the morning of July 6, local time, in Rio de Janeiro city, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh worked with the leaders of Granja Fujikura Company - a high-tech agricultural farm in Brazil, part of the Granja Fujikura system originating from Japan.

Mr. Wiliam Shuhei Fujikura, Director of Fujikura Company, said that in 2025, Fujikura Quail Genetics Company surveyed Vietnam and is currently cooperating with Trong Khoi Company to develop quail farming in the Vietnamese and Asian markets.

He hopes that the Vietnamese Government, ministries, branches and localities will create conditions for the Company to cooperate effectively in Vietnam, not only raising quail but also developing large-scale high-tech agriculture .

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated Granja Fujikura Company on its business results globally in recent times; highly appreciated the Company's cooperation with Trong Khoi, one of the leading enterprises in Vietnam in the field of quail egg export; affirmed that on the basis of the good Vietnam-Brazil relationship, Vietnam hopes that Brazilian enterprises, including Granja Fujikura Company, will continue to pay attention to and expand investment and business cooperation in the Vietnamese market.

According to the Prime Minister, Vietnam aims to export 100 billion USD worth of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the coming years. To achieve these goals, the Vietnamese Government is committed to resolving issues in the sector such as institutions, policies, human resources, land, etc. and creating conditions for private enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises to develop and export agricultural products.

Emphasizing that Vietnam has a potential consumer market with a population of over 100 million people, a growing middle class and is the gateway to the ASEAN region, a dynamically developing region and the world's leading attractive destination for investors, the Prime Minister hoped that Granja Fujikura Company would strengthen cooperation with domestic partners to bring the Company's products to Vietnamese and regional consumers as well as bring Vietnamese agricultural products to the Brazilian market and the Group's global market network.

Hoping that the Company will cooperate and support domestic partners to improve their capacity, especially in the following stages: Market development, technology transfer, product promotion... with the spirit of "what you say must be done, what you commit to must be done effectively", the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Ministry of Finance to continue to coordinate with relevant ministries, branches and localities to support the Company in the process of researching and implementing investment and business activities in Vietnam as well as creating favorable conditions for cooperation with Vietnamese enterprises./.
