Mr. Nguyen An Toan (Thanh Phuoc commune) is trying hard to learn language, skills and knowledge to go to Japan to work.
1. After many years of graduating from Cao Thang Technical College (HCMC) and working at a company specializing in the production of medical gloves, Mr. Nguyen An Toan (Thanh Phuoc Commune, Tay Ninh Province) decided to work abroad. Mr. Toan chose the food processing field in Japan because it was suitable for the Refrigeration major he had studied.
Mr. Toan shared: “I was impressed by the professionalism, standard style and good treatment of Japanese enterprises, so I decided to go to this market to learn and develop myself. At first, my family was a bit worried because I had to go far away, but when they understood the clear goals and plans, everyone fully supported and encouraged me.”
To realize his dream, Mr. Toan registered to study Japanese at Esuhai Company Limited - Office at Long An College after consulting and being highly appreciated by many seniors for the quality of teaching and the dedication of the lecturers. “Japanese is very difficult, especially the writing and grammar. But I persevere in studying every day; at the same time, I participate in group study, practice communication skills to soon reach N4 level” - Mr. Toan said.
Not only focusing on language, Toan also proactively practices professional working style and attitude, and learns about workplace culture to be ready to integrate. Toan said that what worries him the most is the language barrier and cultural differences. However, with careful preparation and a progressive spirit, he believes that he will quickly adapt.
It is expected that in early 2026, he will officially go to Japan to work. His goal is to stay long-term if he has the opportunity. “I want to learn a lot during my time working in Japan, from production processes to management and behavior. Later, if I have the opportunity to return, I hope to bring valuable experiences to contribute to businesses in Vietnam,” Toan said.
