The training course was attended by 68 tour guides from tourism businesses in the province. At the training course, the tour guides were informed by the leaders and specialized departments of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism about: The development of tourism in Vietnam and Khanh Hoa; the current status of tourism activities in the province; measures to ensure security and safety for tourists; the system of state management organizations on tourism; the system of new legal documents related to tourism; information on new tourism products, key tourism products of Khanh Hoa province (including Ninh Thuan tourism products);...
Mr. Cung Quynh Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: Up to now, the department has issued 2,388 tour guide cards, including 910 domestic cards and 1,478 international cards. However, the number of tour guides above is still not enough to meet the human resources for travel businesses operating in the province, especially the Russian and Korean markets... Updating knowledge will help tour guides operate in accordance with the law; at the same time, help tour guides complete the procedures for issuing and exchanging cards to serve tourism activities in the province.
