Introducing technology and equipment in the fields of agriculture and aquaculture is the main theme of the 2023 Binh Thuan Province Technology and Equipment Fair organized by the Department of Science and Technology of Binh Thuan in coordination with the Department of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprises, Ecotech Eco Village - National Techfest in Phan Thiet City this morning, December 7.
Attending the event were Mr. Pham Hong Quat, Director of the Department of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprises - Ministry of Science and Technology ; representatives of the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City, departments, branches, associations, unions, sponsors, establishments, enterprises, and cooperatives inside and outside the province.
Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Mai Thanh Nga emphasized in her opening speech: "Introducing technology and equipment in the agricultural and aquatic sectors is the main theme of the Binh Thuan Province Technology and Equipment Fair 2023, creating conditions for establishments, businesses, and scientists to link production and business, build and enhance brand value, promote technology exchange between localities across the country; at the same time, support technology research to form startup ideas".
Mr. Pham Hong Quat shared with the delegates that the introduction of Binh Thuan’s agricultural and aquatic products this time aims to create connections and develop local regional specialties to domestic and foreign markets. Thereby enhancing the brand reputation of establishments and businesses in the market, contributing to increasing annual revenue for businesses and local budget revenue.
Within this framework, Dr. Pham Thi Hong Phuong, Head of Ecotech-Techfest National Eco Village (a companion unit for innovative startups in Binh Thuan), together with leaders of the Department of Science and Technology guided and introduced to delegates visiting more than 30 booths of technology and equipment in the agricultural and aquatic sectors in and outside the province, which are produced and processed cleanly according to green technology, ensuring the health of consumers.
It is known that the leaders of the Department of Science and Technology of Binh Thuan and the National Center for Supporting Creative Startups (NSSC) signed a cooperation agreement in promoting innovation, developing the science and technology market and science and technology enterprises in Binh Thuan.
