Rodrygo “ignores” when fans ask about Arsenal

According to COPE radio , Real Madrid's board of directors do not want to sell Rodrygo but are prepared for the worst by setting a transfer fee of up to 100 million euros. In addition, Rodrygo's current contract runs until 2028, with a 1 billion euro release clause - an almost unimaginable figure in the current context.

Arsenal are said to be monitoring his situation, though. Manager Mikel Arteta wants to bolster his attack as the club prepares for the 12.5-12.6 season. Rodrygo has remained silent about his future, and according to multiple sources in Spain, he is in no rush to make a decision. His lack of regular playing time at Real Madrid is clearly a worrying sign, but with his sky-high price tag, Rodrygo's departure remains a big question mark.

No formal offer has been made to Real Madrid at this stage, and negotiations are likely to only get underway once pre-season heats up. Arsenal and their rivals will have to think carefully if they want to bring Rodrygo to the Spanish giants at a hefty price.
