The misty scene like a 'fairyland' at Long Coc tea hill In early July, Long Coc tea hill in Tan Son ( Phu Tho ) appears and disappears in the mist like a fairyland.
In early July, standing in the middle of Long Coc tea hills in the misty morning mist, landscape photographer Ngo Van Duc (31 years old, living in Hanoi ) called this an "unforgettable experience". He described the scenery as both majestic like mountains and poetic hidden in a thin layer of mist. When the first rays of sunlight shone through the tree canopy, the mist gently melted, creating "picturesque" streaks of light.
Long Coc tea hill in Long Coc commune, Phu Tho province, about 125 km from Hanoi, is considered one of the most beautiful tea hills in Vietnam. When arriving, Duc chose the dawn and dusk time to take photos, because according to him, these are the two times when the light and color of the sky combine to create a beautiful scene. However, to get the most satisfactory photo, he had to return to Long Coc many times.
According to the photographer, Long Coc has a very unique beauty that is hard to find anywhere else growing tea. The name "Long Coc" itself says it all, originating from the special shape of the tea hills. From afar, the tea hills look like winding dragons, creating a majestic and poetic landscape.
From above, Long Coc tea hills appear with hundreds of small, green, undulating hills of different sizes like upside-down bowls. These "tea oases" help Long Coc be known as "Ha Long Bay of the midlands".
Long Coc tea hills are not only the livelihood of local people but also a prominent tourist attraction of Phu Tho province. During his trip, Duc spent time talking to the locals, mainly the Muong ethnic group. "They are very friendly and open, telling many interesting stories about tea growing as well as local cultural life. I learned a lot from such conversations," he said.
Long Coc is not only a familiar destination for domestic photographers but also attracts international photographers and tourists. According to Duc, after the merger, Phu Tho province (new) is a land with great potential and opportunities for tourism development. "I appreciate places that still retain their wild beauty, intact landscapes and local cultural identity like Long Coc. On the contrary, destinations that are massively urbanized and lack clear planning often find it difficult to maintain sustainable tourism attraction," he said.
Coming to Phu Tho, visitors can choose a tour to explore Long Coc tea hill - Xuan Son national park, choose homestay accommodation to experience cultural life with the local Muong people.
