After the defeat to Grimsby, Amorim said: “Something has to change.” However, at United, people believe he will not abandon the familiar formation - the one that helped him reap success at Sporting. Therefore, it is unlikely that Amorim is referring to changing the team's arrangement.

This weekend’s game against Burnley will be United’s final before the international break. The message from Old Trafford on August 28 was “business as usual”. United will return from the break with a derby against Manchester City on September 14.
