Surprisingly, Israeli special forces can raid Iran's underground fortress
The success of Operation Lion Rising was partly due to special forces units successfully infiltrating Iranian territory and identifying key targets before the airstrikes took place.

Israeli newspaper Times of Israel reported that US President Donald Trump hinted that Israeli commandos had entered the underground fortress after a US B-2 stealth bomber airstrike on Iran's Fordow nuclear facility. This is the first time the US and Israel have publicly revealed that during the Israel-Iran war, Israeli special forces penetrated deep into Iranian territory, participated in battles and even penetrated the underground fortress of the Fordow nuclear facility.
The organizational model of Iran's armed forces, including three branches, includes the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) with more than 300,000 troops organized into 27 divisions, the second branch is the Iranian Army (AJA) with 350,000 troops organized into four corps-level units, four armored divisions, six independent infantry divisions, two special forces divisions, one commando division and one airborne brigade. The third branch is the Iranian Basij militia (led by the IRGC), which has about 450,000 militiamen, to ensure internal security, as well as a large number of police, internal security, intelligence and security personnel. It can be affirmed that Israeli special forces have infiltrated Iranian territory to carry out assassination, sabotage, and attack important targets... It can be said that they fought in an environment where it was "hard to escape", with almost no chance of survival.According to information from China Central Television CCTV News, General Zamir, Chief of General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, admitted that Israeli commandos had penetrated deep into Iranian territory, attacking ballistic missile launchers, air defenses and other Iranian targets. Iranian security forces and militias, who were guarding Iranian missile sites, found abandoned Israeli-made Spike anti-tank missiles. Israeli commandos used satellite-guided anti-tank missiles to attack Iranian long-range air defense missile sites and radar stations at the start of the war.
According to foreign media reports, on June 13 (the day Israel's "Operation Am KaLavi" ("Lion Rises") began), at least two Israeli Air Force C-130 transport planes were spotted flying at extremely low altitudes over the desert in Suweida province, southern Syria. It is very likely that these were Israeli special forces that infiltrated Iranian territory. A large number of Israeli commandos, flying on C-130 transport planes, infiltrated Iran at extremely low altitudes to carry out special raids. Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff General Zamir has admitted that Israeli commandos have been operating in Iran, "thanks to the joint action of the Air Force and ground attack forces", and said that "these forces are operating secretly deep inside Iranian territory". Iranian media reported that during the 12-day Iran-Israel war (June 12-24), Iranian security forces arrested about 700 Iranian citizens and discovered Israeli commandos conducting secret operations in Iran. At the same time, Iranian security forces searched for Israeli commandos across the country. The IRGC and its Basij militia have deployed heavy defenses in the Kurdish region and on Iran's borders with Pakistan, Iraq and Azerbaijan. Brigadier General Karami, commander of the IRGC's ground forces, has led a large-scale manhunt in Iran's Kermanshah, Isfahan, Khuzestan, Fars, Lorestan and Tehran provinces. However, until the end of the Iran-Israel war, Iran had not publicly killed or captured any members of the Israeli commandos. After 12 days of fighting, it is likely that none of the Israeli commandos were captured or killed. In fact, they were not detected by Iranian security forces or militias.
Iran believes that the tribal areas in Iran, especially the Kurds, are secretly helping and supporting Israel's actions. Iran has always believed that Israel is using the Kurds and other minority tribal areas in Iran, to infiltrate into Iran's interior. Iranian leaders believe that Kurdish opposition groups in Iran, with Israeli support, have assisted Israel in conducting covert operations into Iran through the Kurdish region of Iraq; and have helped Israel smuggle weapons into Iran. In particular, Iran’s western border is the Kurdish region, which has a large Kurdish militia. This is also an important channel for Israel to enter Iran. Here, Israeli commandos can move freely in and out of Iran and escape safely at all times. They must have been protected and supported by a large number of Persians, Kurds and Turkmen.
In recent days, Iran has discovered that in Tehran alone, there are about 10,000 FPV UAVs. Israel's infiltration into Iran is no longer a matter of a few spies but a system. In Iran, Israel has developed a local force of agents, estimated to be at least several thousand strong. Without such a network of agents, in a country like Iran, where the Basij militia and police are present in almost every village and town, even if the Israeli special forces had “three heads and six arms,” they would not be able to survive a day.
