Female student from 'village school' admitted to 3 specialized schools, runner-up in Pedagogy

In the 2025 10th grade admission season, Dang Chau Anh (9E student of Tan Dinh Secondary School, Hanoi) made a strong impression when she was admitted to 3 specialized schools and was also the runner-up in the Literature class of the Pedagogical High School.

Located in an area far from the center of Hanoi (Tuong Mai ward), many parents and students jokingly call Tan Dinh Secondary School "village school".

However, with her results, Dang Chau Anh (class 9E, Tan Dinh Secondary School) shows that "village school" students can create impressive achievements.

Recently, in the 2025 Hanoi public high school entrance exam, Chau Anh achieved a total score of 26.75 (including Literature 8.75; Math 9.25; Foreign Language 8.75), passed the Literature major of Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted and the first choice of non-specialized public school to Thang Long High School.

Thus, in this year's 10th grade admission season, the female student affirmed her ability and passion for Literature when she was admitted to 3 specialized schools, including: Pedagogy Specialized High School, Social Sciences and Humanities Specialized High School, and Nguyen Hue Specialized High School.

Notably, Chau Anh also excelled in winning the second prize in the Literature category in the 10th grade entrance exam at the Specialized Pedagogical High School - one of the top specialized schools in the country. "These results are not only the pride of Chau Anh and her family, but also the honor of Tan Dinh Secondary School", Principal Tran Thi Quynh Van shared.

Chau Anh's greatest passion is Literature. She not only studies independently but also shows her constant exploration and discovery of each sentence and each literary work.

She showed initiative and desire to deepen her knowledge of this subject right from the first years of grade school. Right from grade 7, when Tan Dinh Secondary School started organizing excellent student clubs, Chau Anh quickly enrolled in the Literature Excellent Student Club.

Chau Anh's efforts were duly rewarded with an impressive academic record. From grade 6 to grade 9, she was awarded the title of excellent student. Notably, the female student always maintains her achievements with 7/8 or all 8/8 subjects achieving an average score of over 9.

In Literature alone, in grade 7, Chau Anh won the first prize for excellent students at the school level and the second prize for excellent students at the district level. In grade 8, she continued to win the first prize at the school level and the third prize at the district level. In grade 9, the female student showed her superiority and achieved the highest results with the first prize at the district level and then the title of excellent student at the city level with the Encouragement prize.

Teachers at school commented that Chau Anh not only "shines" because of her outstanding academic achievements but also because of her valuable personality.

The female student wins the hearts of her friends and teachers because of her lovable personality, always being gentle and responsible.

"Chau Anh is always loved and trusted by her classmates, and that is clearly demonstrated through her responsible role as the class monitor. In the eyes of her teachers, Chau Anh is also always a model student and proactive in all activities. Her dedication to the assigned work, even the smallest task, makes her a reliable support for the whole class," said Ms. Le Huyen Trang, homeroom teacher of class 9E.

Outside of school, Chau Anh is an outstanding face of Tan Dinh Secondary School with many talents, such as liking to write poetry, draw, especially her handwriting is very beautiful. The female student is also often present in the school's extracurricular activities.

With this result, the female student said she will choose the Specialized Pedagogical High School to study during her high school years.

Chau Anh shared that her dream is to become a Literature teacher.
