In particular, the people of the capital highly agree with the work of arranging and streamlining the apparatus, the two-level local government, the policies of macroeconomic management, inflation control, market stabilization, economic growth promotion, trade promotion activities, investment attraction, policies oneducation and health, and high-level foreign affairs activities of the Party, State, and Government.
The city has issued many specific policies to implement the 2024 Capital Law, along with organizing the arrangement of commune-level administrative units, and large-scale, safe holiday celebration activities that are welcomed by the people.
However, voters are still concerned and worried about the negative impacts of the political situation and armed conflicts in the world and the region; the situation of counterfeit goods, especially milk, medicine and functional foods, has a great impact on consumers' health, partly due to the laxity in licensing, management, inspection and handling of violations by authorities.
In addition, traffic safety and order are still complicated; high-tech fraud via phone and social networks has not been effectively controlled.
People also reported the slow progress of clean water supply projects in remote areas, the slow issuance of land use right certificates and apartment ownership certificates; ineffective waste sorting at source; illegal construction on agricultural land still occurs. Land and apartment prices are increasing, making it difficult for people, especially officials, civil servants, public employees and low-income workers, to own a house.
In the first 6 months of 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in Hanoi and its member organizations have carried out propaganda and mobilization work well in various forms, focusing on the 2025 working theme of the city and the city's Fatherland Front, especially propaganda on the Law on the Capital (amended) and the merger and change of administrative boundaries.
