According to Captain Le Bao Phong, Deputy Head of the Tinh Bien International Border Control Station, in the past time, the station has implemented the control process in accordance with regulations, ensuring quickness, strictness, and openness in accordance with the law, creating maximum favorable conditions for people and businesses. At the same time, the unit has strengthened coordination to prevent and combat smuggling, trade fraud, drug crimes, etc. to prevent negative incidents. "Through the control work, many violations of the law have been detected and handled effectively, contributing to maintaining border security and serving the open-door policy and international integration well," said Captain Le Bao Phong.
In the first 6 months of 2025, Tinh Bien International Border Control Station processed exit procedures for more than 40,000 people, entry procedures for nearly 50,000 people, and processed export-import and temporary import-re-export procedures for more than 300,000 tons of goods. The station detected and handled 7 cases of violations of entry and exit regulations; organized propaganda and dissemination of laws to tens of thousands of people and passengers about border regulations, border gate regulations, and entry and exit regulations.
Through control work, the Tinh Bien International Border Control Station proactively grasps the internal and external border situation, promptly detects plots and methods of operation of reactionary and criminal organizations, and maintains regional security. Border external relations are effectively maintained, with regular information exchanges with the Cambodian border management force. The station also actively propagates and prevents people from participating in illegal activities such as gambling and cockfighting in the border area.
