Cu Dram Pineapple Agricultural and Service Cooperative (Krong Bong district) was established with 10 members, with an initial production area of 250 hectares, which has now increased to 500 hectares of pineapple cultivation.

In 2022, the Cooperative registered to use the Collective Trademark "Cu Dram - Krong Bong Pineapple" issued by the Department of Intellectual Property ( Ministry of Science and Technology ). Since then, the unit has actively implemented a pineapple production model that meets VietGAP standards.
Not only selling fresh pineapple, the unit also develops many processed products from pineapple such as: pineapple jam, pineapple wine, pineapple cake... At the same time, actively promoting and displaying products inside and outside the district, connecting to find stable output for the products.

Mr. Sin Mi Cha, Krong Bong district, said that his family converted 1 hectare of ineffective corn and cassava land to pineapple cultivation. Before that, he learned about and visited some pineapple cultivation models of local people, then invested in 20,000 seedlings to plant. The first crop yielded more than 30 tons. After deducting expenses, he earned a profit of 200 million VND.
According to Mr. Cha, pineapple trees are drought-resistant, do not require much care, and have low investment costs, bringing higher economic efficiency than other crops. Currently, his family has escaped poverty and has a stable economy. In the near future, the family plans to buy more land to expand the pineapple growing area and increase income.
With the characteristics of sloping, infertile land, in the past, people in Krong Bong district mainly grew rice, corn... with unstable income. In recent years, after people switched to growing pineapples. Many ethnic minority households have had stable incomes, gradually rising out of poverty.
Ms. Pham Thi Nga (born in 1992, Cu M'gar district) - a pineapple purchasing facility said that she started a business model of dried fruit with salt and chili. The main dried fruit products are: dried pineapple, dried custard apple... The raw materials for producing dried pineapple are purchased from pineapple gardens of farmers in Krong Bong district. Each month, Ms. Nga's facility consumes about 15 tons of fresh fruit. Revenue from dried fruit products of all kinds reaches more than 2 billion VND/year, of which dried pineapple with salt and chili accounts for 50%.

According to her, in recent years, pineapple has become a new direction in economic development, bringing a stable source of income to many farming households in remote communes of Krong Bong district. Her model has taken advantage of abundant local raw materials, helping farmers in the area have stable output, increase income and build a local agricultural production chain.
The project "Developing a local dried fruit model" by Ms. Pham Thi Nga is the only project of Dak Lak province to enter the final round of the Rural Youth Startup Project Competition organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in 2024.

In Cu M'gar district, the Green Highlands High-Tech Agricultural Cooperative has 10 official members and 35 associate members contributing capital, cultivating a total area of more than 120 hectares of passion fruit, of which 61 hectares have achieved GlobalGAP certification.
Currently, this cooperative has growing area codes from France, Australia, China, Canada; GlobalGAP certification for 61 hectares of passion fruit; ISO 22000:2018 certification...
Each member of the cooperative has a planting area of 3-5 hectares or more; uses tissue culture, clean and safe cultivation, ensuring international standards... On average, 1 hectare of passion fruit will yield 30 tons of fresh fruit. The cooperative comes to the garden to purchase. The unit also provides passion fruit seedlings and fertilizers to cooperatives and people who cooperate to intercrop in coffee, pepper, and fruit gardens... thereby helping to increase income on the same area for farmers.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh Binh, Director of the Cao Nguyen Green High-Tech Agricultural Cooperative, from the beginning of 2025 until now, the cooperative's direct official export has been very favorable. On average, each month, the unit sells about 30 - 40 tons of fresh passion fruit to the international market. In addition to passion fruit, the cooperative also cooperates with cooperatives inside and outside the province to consume other products such as: coffee, durian, chili, pepper, etc.
In 2024, the cooperative's revenue will reach 48 billion VND and strive to increase revenue to 100 billion VND in 2025.
