However, thanks to his extraordinary willpower and passion for technology, he has "reprogrammed" his life, becoming a volunteer bridge for many difficult circumstances and a technology inspiration for the young generation in poor rural areas.

Overcoming adversity through technology

Born into a poor family, with a disability that prevented him from walking normally and poor health, Le Thai Binh was not able to go to school at the right age. However, in a small room with an old computer, he taught himself to read and write, learned to use computers, and gradually mastered information technology to connect with the outside world .

Mr. Le Thai Binh shared that when he was born, he was not as lucky as other children, his limbs were not intact, his speech was unclear and he had to rely on a tricycle to move around. At the age of 11, he took his first steps and did not go to school until he was 12.

“Despite everything, I still have faith in the future. I learned a trade myself and started a business to make a living with my own efforts and intelligence,” Binh recalls.

Not resigned to his fate, he founded the Ky Anh Volunteer Team and the “Goodwill from the Heart” group to connect young people to participate in charity activities. Through social networks and the Internet, he coordinated activities from writing open letters, calling for donations, compiling data to transparent financial disclosure.

Since 2023, his group has raised more than 2 billion VND from philanthropists, supporting hundreds of poor students with scholarships, bicycles, and warm clothes. Many lonely elderly people, terminally ill patients, and people with disabilities have also received practical help.

Duong Nguyen Kieu Anh, a 5th grade student at Ky Tien Primary School, Ky Anh District, said: "I am an orphan, my mother has a mental illness, and I live with my grandmother. After my brother died in a traffic accident, I thought I would have to quit school. Thanks to the help of the group "Goodness from the Heart," I have been able to continue my studies."

Mr. Le Thai Hau, a member of the volunteer group, shared: "We really admire Mr. Binh's will to live and his spirit for the community. That is the motivation for us to spread good things with him."

Inspiring technology from poor rural areas

Not only does he do charity work, Mr. Binh also opens free computer classes at home. Using his knowledge and skills, he guides dozens of children in the area to get acquainted with computers, learn how to type, create documents and access the internet safely.

In Ky Tan commune, where there are still many difficulties in learning conditions, this is a very meaningful model. Thanks to this special class, many children have first contact with the keyboard, computer mouse and know how to search for information for their studies.

Phan Khanh Nguyen, a 5th grade student at Ky Tan Primary School, Ky Anh District, shared that thanks to Mr. Binh's computer science teaching, he learned how to use a computer, type documents and find learning materials online.

In a small house, while repairing computers to increase his income, Mr. Binh is also dedicated to imparting knowledge to poor children with a spirit of sharing and tirelessness.

“I started from scratch so I know how important it is to have early access to technology. I hope that children will not be left behind,” he said.

For Le Thai Binh, technology is not only a means of earning a living but also a meaningful way of life. With his disabled hands and a computer keyboard, he has “programmed” a new life that is brilliant, compassionate and inspiring. That quiet kindness is spreading throughout the community, like a small fire warming the lives of the disadvantaged and inspiring belief in the value of life for people with disabilities.

In an era where technology can distance people, Mr. Binh uses technology to connect people, share and spread good things. His journey of life and dedication not only touches the hearts of many people, but also conveys a strong message about determination, dedication and belief in good things.

Ms. Mai Thi Huyen Trang, Secretary of Ky Anh District Youth Union, assessed Mr. Le Thai Binh as a shining example of determination and compassion. Although he is not physically healthy, he still strives to improve his life, spreading positive values to the community, especially the youth. He has applied information technology to change his own life, at the same time connecting difficult circumstances, sharing stories, inspiring and supporting the disadvantaged through social networks.

“Mr. Binh is a trusted companion of the Youth Union in many social security activities in the locality. Not only is he an example of overcoming difficulties, he also plays an important role in spreading the spirit of kindness and sharing in the community," Ms. Huyen Trang emphasized./.
