At the families of Agent Orange victims, the delegation members kindly visited the victims' health and presented gifts including necessities and cash, worth 1 million VND each.
Mr. Tran Van Be, 75 years old, residing in Thanh Tan hamlet, Ke Sach commune, an Agent Orange victim, emotionally shared: “The Association’s concern is a great source of encouragement for our family. Not only materially, but most importantly, it gives us peace of mind that we will not be left behind.”
The delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Tran Van Be, residing in Thanh Tan hamlet, Ke Sach commune ( Can Tho city).
Previously, the Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims of Can Tho City also coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of My Xuyen Ward to visit and present 5 gifts to families of Agent Orange victims in the ward.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoai, Vice President of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Can Tho City, this activity aims to help ease the pain of Agent Orange, and at the same time call on the whole society to join hands to help victims overcome difficulties, gradually stabilize their lives, and integrate into the community during the Month of Action for Victims of Agent Orange.
