This is also the necessary luggage for studying as well as future career path.

Passionate about it

In 2011, Traveling Club (University of Economics , University of Danang) was officially established, becoming a useful academic playground for students, as well as a place to connect and spread the passion for travel and meaningful experiences.

The highlight of Traveling Club is the regular activities with many rich topics: learning about cultural beauty, the journey to discover Ngu Hanh Son “Ngu Hanh du ky”, workshops on tourism. Each activity brings students excitement, usefulness, and at the same time inspires love for the homeland and country.

In addition, Traveling Club also organizes many meaningful activities such as: winter volunteering, talent contests... These imprints contribute to creating a dynamic, creative environment, where students can challenge themselves and grow.

Currently, Traveling Club operates with 3 departments: communications, operations and logistics, gathering more than 100 members. Every year, the club organizes recruitment of new members through 2 rounds: application and interview. Thanks to its special appeal, the number of registrations always exceeds the target, affirming the prestige and attractiveness of the "common home" Traveling.

Sharing her experience at the club, student Tran Thi Ngoc Kieu (Faculty of Tourism) said: “Coming to Travelling, I not only made more close friends but also learned countless useful things. From communication skills, teamwork to event organization, all are valuable experiences, helping me mature and become more confident for my future career path.”

Traveling Club President Tran Bao Nguyen shared that the club not only creates a healthy and useful playground but also an environment for students to develop comprehensively in terms of knowledge, skills and practical experience.

In the coming time, the Club will continue to expand its scale of activities, diversify its topics, and strengthen connections with organizations and businesses to bring members many opportunities to learn and experience.

Big journey from small steps

At the University of Education (University of Danang), the Tourism Club was established in 2019 and has become a familiar meeting place for students who love and are passionate about this profession. Each year, the Club attracts about 50-60 students to register to participate, creating a useful playground to practice practical skills, while nurturing the dream of contributing to the development of homeland tourism.

With the motto of “learning goes hand in hand with practice”, the Club regularly organizes many attractive programs to enhance the experience for members. Notably, the program “Running Man” - a competition for MCs, tour guides, soft skills related to majors... The content and location of the competition are changed every year to increase discovery, helping students better understand the culture, history and landscape of Da Nang city.

Not only stopping at professional activities, the Tourism Club also spreads the spirit of sharing through charity programs. Currently, the Club is calling for the collection of old books to give to students in difficult mountainous areas.

Cao Xuan Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Tourism Club, said: “The club meets regularly every Thursday, and each session is innovative in both content and form to bring excitement to members. The club pays special attention to selecting people who are passionate, dynamic and enthusiastic about the tourism industry. Through these activities, we not only create an environment to practice soft skills, but also arouse creativity and enthusiasm for learning in each member.”
