With the theme “Healthy and beautiful dance”, the Nam Po district folk dance competition had the participation of 23 teams, with nearly 300 cadres, members, female workers from 15 association bases, schools, and trade union organizations in the district. The teams brought to the competition many songs praising the homeland, country, family, and fine traditions of Vietnamese women and many well-rehearsed and elaborate folk dance performances; in line with the theme and main points; creating a vibrant atmosphere that left many impressions on delegates and audiences.
The contest is a practical activity to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2024) and the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024); is a healthy and useful playground for female cadres and members to demonstrate their talents, creativity and confidence; arouse the spirit of solidarity, contribute to improving the spiritual and cultural life of women and develop the folk dance movement in the locality.
