In its original state, the Qiyuan E07 is a coupe SUV - a high-chassis vehicle with a roofline that slopes down to the trunk door similar to coupes.

Thanks to the sliding rear glass panel that can be hidden under the roof and the reverse-opening tailgate, the luggage compartment can be transformed into a pickup truck-like structure, thereby turning the Qiyuan E07 into a small pickup truck with a size similar to the Ford Maverick.

In fact, the idea of a car that could transform into a pickup truck was first realized in the mid-1960s with the Studebaker Wagonaire wagon, which had a roof that could slide forward. However, this model was complained by many users because the roof was not tight and water got in.

The Qiyuan E07 comes standard with a 338-horsepower electric motor. The AWD version adds a 252-horsepower electric motor, bringing the total output to 590 horsepower. There is also a choice of 20- or 21-inch wheels.
