On the evening of June 29, Hoa Sen University (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) organized the Fashion Creation 2025 show. The show impressed with 17 collections including 62 designs from 17 fashion design students of the school.
Show with many impressive collections
Master Tran Minh Nhut, Director of the Fashion Design Program at Hoa Sen University, said that in order to present this collection, the students had to spend 6 months working hard in all stages of a designer's life, from forming ideas, creating costume models, and creating materials.
Many collections are inspired by typical cultures and landscapes such as Hue's rural market, Thien Hau Pagoda, Atlantis city or the wild beauty of deserts and jungles. Some projects stand out with autobiographical elements, literary and cinematic materials.
"Many collections demonstrate abundant creativity with diverse themes from culture, tradition to current events. Young designers have shown their ability to handle materials and patterns very interestingly, and apply contemporary fashion trends well. Hopefully through the collections, you will bring a new breeze to Vietnamese fashion" - designer Le Thanh Hoa commented.
The meticulous investment of the program is no different from a professional stage.

In the end, Pham Trong Hieu was crowned the winner of Fashion Creation 2025 with his impressive collection "Saigon Shock". The collection was inspired by everyday but risky images in urban areas such as tangled electric wires, abandoned danger signs or flyers posted everywhere. Through the language of fashion, Hieu hopes to convey a warning about the current state of the living environment, while contributing his voice to the journey of building a safer and more civilized city.
Second prize went to the collection "Emotional Cycle" by student Tran Thi Nhu Quynh. Inspired by the cycle of time and the changing seasons, the collection symbolizes the emotions of joy, anger, love, and hate that people experience.
The collection "Silk Painting" by student Nhan Thi Lan opens up a poetic perspective on the beauty of silence, meticulousness, and perseverance through the metaphorical image of silkworms spinning silk in Ha Dong Silk Village and won third prize.
"As a generation of 8X, I am almost "blind" to technology because everything develops too quickly. However, since I found the lecture hall again and studied my favorite subject, I feel much younger. I am proficient in fashion design software, have developed a design mindset, and know how to apply technology to design as well as develop my business" - Lan expressed.
