This year, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology plans to recruit about 6,500 students at both its Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City campuses using five methods, including: talent selection; based on international certificates; considering test scores to assess capacity and thinking; considering high school graduation exam scores; considering a combination of English certificates and academic records.
With the combined admission method, the admission requirements are that candidates have IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 65, TOEFL ITB 500, with an average score of 7.5 or higher in three years of high school, and good conduct. When calculating the admission score, the school uses the transcript scores of three subjects according to the combination.
This year, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will consider high school transcripts and interviews. The school notes that candidates must have an average score of 3 out of 6 subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, and English for the entire 11th and 12th grade years that are suitable for one of the subject groups for admission in the training program, reaching 8.8/10 or higher.
For Pharmacy, in addition to the above average score, candidates need to have an IELTS English certificate of 5.0 or TOEFL iBT of 35 points or higher. After meeting the admission requirements, candidates will participate in a direct interview with the school's admission interview board.
With the method of considering the results of ranking high school students in 2025, FPT University requires candidates to be ranked in the Top 50 in 2025 according to their grade 11 and first semester grades (certified on the SchoolRank website), along with the condition that their Math score and the score of any 2 subjects in the second semester of grade 12 must be from 21 points or higher.

University of Information Technology , Ho Chi Minh City National University announces the admission of candidates from the list of 149 high schools that prioritize admission to Ho Chi Minh City National University (from 2026, priority will only be given to admission of specialized/gifted students).
Admission score = Academic score + Bonus points (if any) + Priority points (if any)
In which, the academic score used for admission is the average score of 3 years of high school of 3 subjects in the admission combination that the candidate registers for, rounded to two decimal places. Bonus points are given to candidates who win First, Second, Third, and Encouragement prizes in the national excellent student selection exam; candidates who are members of the school or provincial or city team participating in the national excellent student exam.
This year, the University of Transport enrolls students by 4 methods, in which the method of considering high school transcripts is applied to most of the admission majors.
The school uses the total score of three subjects in the admission combination (full 3 years of high school) and priority points (if any) for admission. In which, the average score of each subject of the three subjects in the admission combination (averaged for all 3 years) has no average score below 5.5 points.
For admission majors (except English Language major), when calculating the total admission score, multiply the Math score by 2, then convert it to a 30-point scale according to the formula: Total admission score on a 30-point scale = Total admission score on a 40-point scale x 3/4.
This year, Hanoi University of Industry will consider candidates who have won provincial-level excellent student awards and candidates with international certificates combined with high school study results. Candidates must have an average high school subject score of each subject in the admission group of 7.0 points or higher and satisfy one of the following two conditions:
- Candidates who won first, second, and third prizes in provincial/municipal high school competitions in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, Informatics, English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean (the time of winning the prizes is no more than 3 years from the time of admission).
- Candidates have one of the following international certificates: SAT ≥ 1000; international English certificate IELTS Academic ≥ 5.5, TOEFL iBT ≥ 50; Korean certificate TOPIK level 3 or higher; Chinese certificate HSK level 3 or higher; Japanese certificate JLPT level N4 or higher.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology recruits more than 13,000 students with 61 diverse training majors according to 3 admission methods: considering high school graduation exam scores, considering academic records, and considering Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test scores or the 2025 V-SAT exam.
For the transcript review, candidates need to have an average score of 18 points or higher in the 3 subjects in the admission group for the 12th grade. The average score for the entire 12th grade year must be 6 points or higher.
University of Economics and Technology of Industry considers high school academic results for a series of hot majors: Information Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Networks and Data Communications, Electronic Engineering Technology - Telecommunications,... The school announced that it will use the total score of the entire 12th grade of the subjects in the admission group.
