Lao Cai announces specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee

On the afternoon of July 1, the People's Committee of Lao Cai province held a conference to announce the resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the establishment of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee and the decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work.

Accordingly, Lao Cai Department of Home Affairs announced Resolution No. 05 of the Provincial People's Council on the establishment of specialized agencies under the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, including 14 agencies on the basis of merging units of the two former provinces of Yen Bai and Lao Cai.

Specifically, establish the Provincial People's Committee Office and the following departments: Finance; Construction; Agriculture and Environment; Science and Technology; Home Affairs; Industry and Trade; Education and Training; Justice; Culture, Sports and Tourism; Health; Ethnicity and Religion; Foreign Affairs and Provincial Inspectorate.

The list of 14 leaders of agencies, departments and branches includes comrades: Le Tri Ha, Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee; Do Duc Minh, Director of the Department of Finance; Tran Ngoc Luan, Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Nguyen Van Trong, Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Nguyen Thi Hai Anh, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Dang Dinh Chung, Director of the Department of Justice; Nong Viet Yen, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Hoang Quoc Huong, Director of the Department of Health; Hoang Chi Hien, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Phi Cong Hoan, Director of the Department of Construction; Tran Minh Sang, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; Nguyen Quoc Luan, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; Ha Duc Minh, Chief Inspector of the province; Luyen Huu Chung, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Education and Training.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Tran Huy Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee congratulated the newly established agencies and leaders.

He emphasized: The construction and selection of personnel for the new apparatus in the provincial departments and branches, especially at the head level, are all carefully considered and implemented according to principles, in which the top criteria for selecting cadres are professional capacity and ability to meet job requirements; absolutely not local.

In the coming time, to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the new apparatus right from the initial stage of implementing the 2-level local government model, it is recommended that agencies, units and leaders, especially heads of agencies and units under the Provincial People's Committee, focus on directing and widely disseminating policies, resolutions and decisions of the Central Government and the province on the arrangement of apparatus and personnel of Party committees, authorities, agencies and units.

At the same time, units urgently deploy the next tasks of arranging and perfecting the organizational structure of agencies and units. Organize guidance on the implementation of legal documents, especially the Constitution, laws, and decrees regulating decentralization, delegation of power, and division of authority of local governments at two levels...
