Born into a simple farming family in Hoang Mai ward (former Quynh Vinh commune), Nghe An province, Mr. Le Cong Luc's childhood was associated with the deep green hillsides, where acacia and cajuput trees spread along the red soil. Growing up, Mr. Luc traveled to many places to earn a living and worked as a hired hand at plant nurseries. It was that period of time that instilled in him a passion for planting - a seemingly simple job but requiring knowledge, meticulousness and love for trees.

Realizing the increasing demand for seedlings, especially hybrid acacia, in the locality, he decided to return to his hometown and start a business with a nursery model. From a mixed garden converted into a planting area, Mr. Luc gradually expanded the area to 8 sao, specializing in growing high-quality acacia seedlings.
Although he did not receive formal education in school, his valuable practical experience from many years of forest planting and visiting and learning in many places helped him master the technique of tree nursery. He paid attention to every step from soil selection, seed selection, potting, care, fertilization, and pest control. The nursery was invested in an automatic water supply and irrigation system, ensuring optimal growing conditions for the seedlings.
On average, each year, his nursery produces 4 to 5 batches, each batch reaching over 100,000 seedlings. The seedlings are cared for for about 1.5 to 2 months before being sold. Thanks to the guaranteed quality and reasonable prices, Mr. Luc's products are not only trusted by the people in the commune but also widely consumed in neighboring areas. In particular, thanks to the on-site nursery, local people no longer have to travel far to buy seedlings, saving costs and being proactive in production.

With an average selling price of 1,000 VND/tree, his facility earns over 500 million VND in revenue each year. But the value that Mr. Luc brings does not stop at economic figures. Currently, the nursery facility also creates regular jobs for 15 local workers, with a stable income of 6 - 8 million VND/person/month.
Not only is he the owner, Mr. Luc is also a dedicated craftsman, willing to share his experience, provide technical guidance, and even support materials and capital for households wishing to expand production. In addition, Mr. Luc is also a companion of many farmers in difficult circumstances in the locality, helping them develop models, gradually escape poverty and change their lives.
Every year, Mr. Luc proactively supports 5 households in difficult circumstances, providing them with quality seedlings and accompanying them on their journey of planting forests. These acts not only help people have more confidence in the new direction but also spread the spirit of sharing and community solidarity.
