Implementing the directives of the superiors, the Standing Committee of Lang Son Provincial Youth Union issued Plan No. 245-KH/TĐTN-PT, dated March 21, 2025 on implementing sustainable poverty reduction work in 2025 to create changes in awareness and action, raise awareness and responsibility of all levels of Youth Union chapters, members and youth for sustainable poverty reduction work, and synchronously direct all levels of Youth Union chapters to implement and ensure the proposed contents.

Youth start-up models and youth following Uncle Ho's teachings are accompanied and supported by Youth Union chapters at all levels in Lang Son.

In particular, Lang Son Provincial Youth Union coordinates with local functional departments to support vocational training, job creation, start-ups, career establishment, provide knowledge and skills for start-ups, seek creative start-up ideas of union members and young people; create a favorable environment to promote and support union members and young people in the start-up process; orient and support students and young people with start-up ideas to apply in practice; attract support and investment from businesses for start-up ideas and projects.

Lang Son Youth Union members support poor households to stabilize their lives.

Specifically, the Provincial Youth Union has promoted activities to accompany young people in starting businesses and establishing businesses, and implemented the "Rural Youth Start-up Project" contest organized by the Central Youth Union with over 30 participating projects. Along with that, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has done a good job of receiving loan trusts, through coordination activities with banks, many poor young households have benefited from economic development loan programs, gradually rising out of poverty.

According to the report, by the end of March 2025, 14,747 young households in the area had received preferential loans, of which 1 billion 905 million VND had been disbursed. In addition, in 2025, Lang Son Provincial Youth Union was allocated a budget of 10,000,000 VND to implement Sub-project 2 "Monitoring and evaluation" under Project 7 "Capacity building and program monitoring and evaluation".

Thanks to targeted programs to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, many youth start-up models have been successful, helping many young people find jobs and stabilize their lives.

Currently, the Provincial Youth Union is developing an inspection and supervision plan, expected to be implemented in October 2025. In the coming time, to continue to effectively implement activities to help poor households in general and poor households led by young people in particular, Lang Son Provincial Youth Union will continue to direct all levels of the provincial Youth Union to focus on promoting propaganda among young people about the national target program on sustainable poverty reduction through newspapers, social networks, visiting and learning from typical models of young people escaping poverty. Along with that, promote career counseling, loans, vocational training, support for crops and livestock for young households with the will to escape poverty.
