Hanoi Department of Education and Training 'denies' information about benchmark scores spreading online

TPO - This morning (July 4), the Hanoi Department of Education and Training held a meeting to review the 10th grade admission scores for the 2025-2026 school year. While the Department has not yet announced the results, social media has spread the admission scores of some schools, making parents "restless".

After reviewing and completing the standard score approval process, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will simultaneously announce the exam scores and standard scores for all non-specialized public high schools and specialized schools.

Hanoi currently has 119 non-specialized high schools and 4 specialized high schools. According to the leaders of the Department of Education and Training, due to the large number of candidates taking the exam, after the exam ends, the marking and approval of standard scores must be carried out carefully and according to the correct procedures to ensure accuracy and avoid errors.

Today, Hanoi will announce exam scores and admission scores for grade 10 public high schools.

Up to this point, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has not announced the exam results and benchmark scores, but social networks have spread information about benchmark scores of some schools. Among them, there is a "handwritten" version that makes parents "restless".

However, a representative of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training confirmed that the transcripts posted on some social media groups were inaccurate.

This year's Hanoi 10th grade entrance exam has nearly 103,000 candidates, of whom about 80,000 will pass the public school entrance exam.

When the information was released that the Hanoi Department of Education and Training would announce the results today, tens of thousands of parents and candidates were eagerly waiting for their scores.

The new point of this year's exam is that the exam results and benchmark scores are announced at the same time, so as soon as the scores are available, candidates can immediately know whether they passed or failed.
