Comrade Tran Tien Dung was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Phan Thang An, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee and Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee presented the decision and flowers to congratulate Comrade Tran Tien Dung on his appointment to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee.

Attending the announcement ceremony were comrade Phan Thang An, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; leaders of Dien Bien and Vinh Long provinces.

According to Decision 2148-QDNS/TW, dated June 21, 2025 of the Politburo , Central Executive Committee, Comrade Tran Tien Dung (Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee) was transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee (term 2020-2025) from July 1, 2025.

Comrade Tran Tien Dung, Deputy Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, spoke at the announcement ceremony of the Politburo's decision.

Expressing his gratitude to the Politburo, the Secretariat, and General Secretary To Lam for entrusting him with the important responsibility of Deputy Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, comrade Tran Tien Dung also thanked the comrades in the Standing Committee of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee for agreeing to accept him to work in Dien Bien.

Comrade Tran Tien Dung promised to continuously strive, work hard, and be determined with the Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee, and the entire political system of Dien Bien province to continue promoting the glorious revolutionary tradition and spirit of solidarity.

Comrade and the collective will strictly implement the direction of General Secretary To Lam, continue to spend time researching to make appropriate contributions to the province's reality; maximize the spirit of autonomy, self-confidence, self-reliance, self-strengthening and the support and assistance of the Central Government to jointly build and develop Dien Bien province, contributing to the overall development of the whole country, entering a new era - rich, strong and prosperous.

Comrade Tran Tien Dung (born March 7, 1975) is from Nam Dinh province, now Ninh Binh province; he has over 20 years of experience working in the justice sector, holding many positions at the Ministry of Justice and was appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Justice in January 2016.

In February 2019, he was appointed by the Secretariat to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee, term 2015-2020; introduced to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee, term 2016-2021.

In March 2019, he was elected Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term and re-elected to this position for the 2021-2026 term.

In May 2023, comrade Tran Tien Dung was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Justice.

In January 2025, the Politburo decided to transfer and appoint Deputy Minister of Justice Tran Tien Dung to hold the position of Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
