Traveling more than 1,800km from Ho Chi Minh City, Professor, Doctor Nguyen Thi Ngoc Toan visited Dien Bien again in the days when the whole country is looking towards the historical land. This is where, exactly 70 years ago, she and her husband, Lieutenant General Cao Van Khanh, fought together in the Dien Bien Phu campaign. Choking with emotion, she burned incense to commemorate the soldiers and comrades at the A1 Martyrs Cemetery.
