Phu Giao District: 12 products recognized as meeting 3-star OCOP standards

This conference has 12 products of 6 entities recognized as meeting 3-star OCOP standards, including: Fresh guava of Thanh Kien Guava Agricultural Cooperative (Phuoc Hoa commune); Melon of Kim Long High-tech Agricultural Cooperative (An Binh commune); Lingzhi mushroom (KBI) of An Gia Farm Production and Business Household (An Long commune); Refined bird's nest - Yen Duyen Production and Business Household (An Thai commune); Organic water spinach, Organic Malabar spinach of Vinamit Joint Stock Company - Vinamit Organic Farm (Phuoc Sang commune) and a set of 6 herbal wine products (cloudy sticky rice wine, Morinda officinalis, Hawthorn, Banana seeds, Lingzhi, Polyscias fruticosa) of Phu An Khuong Production and Business Household (An Binh commune).

Certified products all meet the criteria of quality, production process, packaging, traceability and market development potential. This is the result of efforts to improve products, affirming the position of Phu Giao agricultural products in the market inside and outside the province.

Delegates attending the Conference

The "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) program has been implemented by Phu Giao district since 2020, initially forming a system of typical products, making an important contribution to rural economic development, increasing income and building advanced, exemplary new rural areas.

To date, the district has had 40 OCOP products recognized, of which 39 products achieved 3 stars and 1 product achieved 4 stars. Notably, this is the final evaluation and certification round directly conducted by the district level.

Mr. Van Quang Chinh, Vice Chairman of Phu Giao District People's Committee spoke at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, the leader of Phu Giao District People's Committee congratulated and commended the entities that have continuously invested and innovated to improve product quality. According to the administrative unit arrangement roadmap, in the coming time, the organization of assessment, classification and support for the OCOP program will be transferred to the new commune level. The district leader requested that communes and towns promptly receive and proactively develop plans to implement the OCOP program in a regular, practical and sustainable manner.
