Yen Nguyen Commune (new) was merged from Yen Nguyen and Hoa Phu communes, headquartered in Yen Nguyen Commune. The commune has a total natural land area of 9,736 hectares, with more than 16 thousand people, of which the Tay ethnic group accounts for more than 70%. The commune Party Committee consists of 45 Party cells with 830 Party members. The number of cadres and civil servants of the commune is 56 comrades/total of 59 positions according to the approved project, of which 100% of the commune cadres and civil servants have university degrees.

Immediately after the two-level local government apparatus came into operation, the Party Committee and the communal government focused on leading and directing timely and proper operations. At the same time, they reviewed, repaired and rearranged the office at the People's Committee of Yen Nguyen Commune (old) to ensure working conditions for officials and civil servants and to receive and handle administrative procedures for people and businesses.

Regarding the preparation for the Commune Party Congress, term 2025-2030: The Commune Party Committee has issued a plan to organize the Congress and a Resolution on the establishment of subcommittees to serve the Congress. The Congress documents have completed the Draft Political Report (7th time). Party cells, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations are organizing to collect comments on the documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the documents of the Commune Party Congress.

Comrade Nong Thi Bich Hue, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee inspected the renovation project of the office of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Yen Nguyen commune.

In the initial stages of operation, Yen Nguyen commune still encountered some difficulties and problems: The area of some working rooms was still small, the machinery and equipment system was degraded, the internet and power grid systems were often overloaded, causing difficulties in organizing work.

Most of the cadres and civil servants are assigned to new positions, different from their old positions, with uneven qualifications and capabilities, and new documents and instructions are updated regularly, so the cadres' ability to access and grasp new tasks, processes and working environments is still limited.

The Commune Administrative Service Center currently lacks some equipment (queue number taking machine, ceiling-mounted screen displaying queue number; lacks 2 high-speed scanners; printers and scanners to serve people in digitizing their own records according to regulations...). The province's procedure handling system is still being updated and completed, so it is not yet stable.

Yen Nguyen Commune also proposed to the superiors to soon pay attention to investing in building an additional working headquarters for the Party Committee and the Fatherland Front Committee of the commune; continue to repair and upgrade the working headquarters, gradually complete the administrative infrastructure system suitable for the scale of the organization after the merger; arrange funds to build official housing for officials and civil servants living far away and soon invest in building the commune police headquarters according to the plan.

The commune proposed that provincial agencies need to organize specialized online training according to the functions and tasks of agencies and units to ensure professional expertise and work skills...

Comrade Nong Thi Bich Hue, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, presented gifts to policy families and meritorious people in Yen Nguyen commune.

Concluding the working session, Nong Thi Bich Hue, Head of Working Group No. 20 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, praised the efforts of the leaders, cadres, civil servants and public employees of Yen Nguyen commune in quickly following up and catching up with the work after the merger.

He suggested that the commune continue to promptly complete the apparatus of the missing department and office leadership positions; proactively coordinate with relevant units to promptly complete the procedures for issuing seals to properly handle work contents.

The Party Committee of the commune focuses on implementing well the leadership and direction of the Congresses of affiliated Party cells and preparing well the conditions for the Congress of Delegates of the Yen Nguyen Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

The Party Committee and the People's Committee of the commune need to be more bold in assigning tasks, checking tasks, clarifying people and responsibilities on a daily and monthly basis for the staff, civil servants and public employees to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of work. The Party Committee and the People's Committee of the commune should proactively prepare well for the care of students in difficult circumstances, and prepare well the facilities of schools to be ready for the new school year.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), Working Group No. 20 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee presented 10 gifts from the province (each worth 2 million VND) to 10 policy households and meritorious people in Yen Nguyen commune. The working group also visited a number of economic models in Yen Nguyen commune.
