The glutinous rice growing area of Kim Thanh district has an area of over 400 hectares.

According to the People's Committee of Kim Thanh district, the locality currently has 8 key agricultural production areas, concentrated according to planning.
That is the Quyt sticky rice area of more than 400 hectares in the communes of Co Dung, Cong Hoa, Tuan Viet, Kim Xuyen... The watermelon growing area of 600 hectares is concentrated in the communes of zone C such as Dong Cam, Lien Hoa, Binh Dan... The bean growing area is about 380 hectares in the communes of Binh Dan, Dong Cam, Kim Tan, Tam Ky. The banana growing area has an area of 190 hectares in the communes of Tuan Viet, Kim Dinh, Kim Xuyen, Dai Duc, Lien Hoa.

The VietGAP vegetable growing area is 57 hectares in the communes of Cong Hoa, Binh Dan, Tam Ky, Kim Tan, Dong Cam. The guava growing area in Dong Cam commune is 25 hectares. The flower growing area in Kim Dinh commune is 16 hectares. The star apple growing area in Lien Hoa commune is 10 hectares.

Land use coefficient in most concentrated production areas is from 3-5 crops/year.

In addition, Kim Thanh district also has 37 farms that meet farm economic criteria, including 2 crop farms, 21 livestock farms, 2 aquaculture farms and 12 mixed farms. The district's agricultural production value has increased steadily over the years with an increase of 1-3%/year.
