The forum was held from July 19 to 21 at VinUni University (Hanoi) with 201 official delegates, more than 300 observers and invited guests participating in person or online. The organizing committee also invited 15 prestigious scientists to join the advisory board.
According to the organizers, more than 90% of the forum's official delegates were trained abroad. Among them, there is 1 professor, 31 associate professors and assistant professors, 150 PhDs from key fields such as: nuclear physics, rocket engines, AI algorithms, information technology, medical technology, materials science, digital transformation, environment - sustainable development,education , society...
At the forum, in addition to the general topic, delegates will focus on discussing four specific groups of content: applying AI and new technologies to improve labor productivity; innovative startups associated with green economy and sustainable development; sustainable adaptation to the challenges of the era of global change; developing cultural and educational foundations in the new era.
At the press conference, comrade Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, said that the Global Vietnamese Young Intellectuals Forum is a practical activity, concretizing important resolutions of the Politburo recently such as Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.
In addition to inheriting the serious academic spirit and continuous connection of previous terms, this year's program focuses more on connecting young intellectuals with national development practices, through practical experiential activities, in-depth dialogues with leading corporations, technology models and innovation ecosystems in Vietnam.
