In 2025, the program will organize 2 classes (each class has 100 soldiers) for students aged 9-15 in provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region. The first class of the program will take place over 10 days (from June 27 to July 6). Students will learn about the traditions of the Vietnam People's Army; be trained in how to arrange military equipment; survival skills, skills to prevent abuse and school violence; practice bare-handed exercises and 16 martial arts movements; play sports; participate in group games, learn to sing, dance folk dances... This is the 15th time the program has been organized to arouse andeducate patriotism and national pride, contributing to raising the responsibility of the young generation towards the Fatherland.
Immediately after the departure ceremony, 100 "child" soldiers of the first class of the program began moving to the program location at Infantry Regiment 932 (Cai Rang Ward, Can Tho City). Reporters of Can Tho Newspaper and Radio and Television recorded some images:

Just on the first day of participating in the program, the children knew how to arrange mosquito nets and blankets neatly and were independent in their personal activities.
