The People's Committee of Hai Ba Trung District ( Hanoi City) has just issued a document publicly announcing constructions that violate Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue (PCCC-CNCH).
Accordingly, there are 19 projects in the area that have not been accepted for fire prevention and fighting but have been put into operation. The announcement of this list is to strictly implement the direction of the City People's Committee and the City Police.
Constructions and buildings violating fire prevention and fighting regulations in Hai Ba Trung district include: Ministry of Education and Training headquarters (35 Dai Co Viet); Ministry of Construction headquarters (37 Le Dai Hanh); Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank headquarters - Ha Thanh branch (330 Ba Trieu); National Institute of Forensic Medicine headquarters (41 Nguyen Dinh Chieu); Media Digital Transformation Center building (2 Hoa Lu) are all located in Le Dai Hanh ward.
Hoa Binh Latrobe-Hanoi Inter-level School (No. 65 Cam Hoi, Dong Mac Ward); Saigon Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank headquarters (No. 11 Han Thuyen, Pham Dinh Ho Ward); CoraBuilding (No. 24-26-28 Hoa Ma, Pham Dinh Ho Ward); housing combined with office for rent (No. 15-17 Han Thuyen, Pham Dinh Ho Ward).
Headquarters of the Textile Research Institute (No. 378 Minh Khai, Vinh Tuy Ward); Textile Hospital (Lane 454 Minh Khai, Vinh Tuy Ward); Building for rent 66, 74 Tran Dai Nghia (Dong Tam Ward); Headquarters of Hanoi Construction Corporation (No. 57 Quang Trung, Nguyen Du Ward); Headquarters of Hai Ha Kotobuki Company Limited (No. 25 Truong Dinh, Truong Dinh Ward); Headquarters of Hanoi Port (No. 838 Bach Dang, Thanh Luong Ward); Headquarters of Dien Bien Industrial Cooperative (No. 11, Lane 42 Lac Trung, Thanh Luong Ward).
The Ministry of Education and Training headquarters and a series of other headquarters were named and shamed for violating fire prevention and fighting regulations.
Previously, in November 2022, Hoan Kiem District Police (Hanoi City) temporarily suspended the operation of the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs (located at 18 Le Thanh Tong, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City) for 1 month to request the correction of some fire prevention and fighting items at the Department's headquarters.
The Department of Home Affairs headquarters was built many years ago, and to date there are some items that do not comply with current fire prevention and fighting standards.
Previously, in February 2023, the Hanoi People's Committee sent an official dispatch to departments, branches, and People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities requesting resolute handling of facilities that do not ensure fire safety conditions; publicizing 100% of projects and constructions that violate fire safety regulations, considering this an important and regular task, contributing to ensuring security, order, and social safety .
