Ha Tinh won 4 medals at the "Songs connecting rivers" festival

(Baohatinh.vn) - With the program "Sentimental melodies of Hong Mountain and La River", the Ha Tinh troupe left its mark at the regular mass art performance in the North Central region in 2025 with 4 medals.

On the evening of July 9, at Lam Son Theater ( Thanh Hoa province), the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province to organize the closing ceremony of the Mass Art Performance "Songs Connecting Rivers" in the North Central region in 2025.

“The Songs Connecting the Rivers” is a mass art performance organized every two years by the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library in collaboration with 5 provinces of the North Central region. This year, the performance is hosted by Thanh Hoa province.

The festival took place from July 8-9, attracting the participation of more than 100 actors and artists from 4 mass art troupes from 4 provinces and cities: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An , Ha Tinh and Hue.

Participating in this festival, the Ha Tinh Center for Culture, Cinema and Tourism Promotion has created an art program with the theme "Sentimental song of Hong Mountain, La River". The program lasts 30 minutes with 5 performances including: Folk song suite "North Central - meaningful song"; male choir "Children's song"; dance "Moonlit night fabric ward"; neo-traditional folk song "Sentimental song of Ha Tinh people"; song "Echo of phoenix land".

As a result, the Ha Tinh delegation won 4 medals (1 gold medal, 3 bronze medals). In addition, Artisan Van Sang (Deputy Director of the Ha Tinh Center for Culture, Cinema and Tourism Promotion) was awarded a certificate of merit by the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library for his outstanding achievements in participating in the festival.

4 medals won by Ha Tinh delegation:

- 1 Gold Medal for the male group performance "Nursery Song" (Composer: Ngoc Thinh; Performed by: Anh Ba, Viet Tao, Thanh Canh, Van Sang, Xuan Truong).

- 3 Silver Medals for the performances: Folk song suite "North Central - Cau hat nghia tinh" (lyrics: Sy Chinh, performed by the whole group); Dance "Phuong vai dem trang" (music: Quoc Dung, choreography: Thuc Thuan, performed by the dance group); New traditional folk song "Mot khuc tam tinh cua nguoi Ha Tinh" (original: Nguyen Van Ty, folk song lyrics: People's Artist An Ninh, performed by: Van Sang, Thuy Hong)
