Hanoi announces 10th grade high school exam scores, how to confirm admission

(Dan Tri) - The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just announced the 10th grade entrance exam scores for high school in 2025. Candidates can confirm their admission directly or online.

Candidates can quickly and accurately look up exam scores and admission scores for grade 10 in Hanoi in 2025 on the electronic information portal of the Department of Education and Training (https://hanoi.edu.vn), the city's primary school admission information portal (https://tsdaucap.hanoi.gov.vn).

Candidates/parents need to prepare student code or registration number to log in.

In the "Search by" box, candidates/parents select Student Code or Registration Number.

In the "Enter information" box, candidates/parents need to enter the number corresponding to the Student Code or Registration Number option. Candidates/parents can review the student code or registration number on the exam notification form.

In the "Security code" box, candidates/parents enter the 4 characters displayed on the right.

Finally, click "Search" to see your exam results.

This year, Hanoi has more than 103,000 students competing for 81,000 public school places, with an admission rate of 78.6%.

Compared to 127,000 9th grade students in the 2024-2025 school year in Hanoi, the rate of students entering public 10th grade after junior high school is about 64%.

This number increases by about 3% compared to 2024, corresponding to about 1,500 more scholarships.

After knowing the scores, if candidates still have questions about the exam results and want to have their exam reviewed, they can submit an application from July 4 to 10. Candidates will receive the review results at the Department of Education and Training on July 28. Then, from July 28 to 30, schools will continue to process student records after the review. Successful candidates (after the review) will confirm their enrollment.

In addition, on July 17, schools that do not meet their quota will recruit additional students. Candidates need to monitor and from July 19 to 22, if they are admitted, they will have to confirm their enrollment.

In case of not being admitted to any of their wishes, students can consider choosing a private high school, continuingeducation center, or vocational school.

Confirmation of admission is a mandatory procedure. Students must register at one of the schools they are admitted to and confirm their admission from 1:30 pm on July 10 to July 12.

For public high schools, students can choose to confirm their admission online or in person.

With the online form, students log in with their account and password to the city's primary school admission system, select the name of their admission wish and confirm their admission, choose to print or save the admission confirmation form and complete the process. In case of being admitted to multiple different wishes, students can change and confirm their admission again on the system before 24:00 on July 12.

In person, students submit a copy of the Admission Test Result Report to the school they wish to be admitted to.

For public, self-financed high schools, private high schools, vocational education - continuing education centers, and vocational education institutions, admitted students will confirm their enrollment directly and the school will receive additional admission applications, if any, until July 22.
